The tallest roller coaster in the world is coming to Orlando.
The $300 million Skyplex; an indoor entertainment complex on International Drive, will soon be home to the world’s tallest rollercoaster. At 570 feet, the Skyplex’s anchor attraction, the Skyscraper, will be taller than the tallest building in downtown Orlando. It will be taller than the Tower of Terror in Australia, taller than the Top Thrill Dragster in Ohio and even taller than the current world record-holder, Kingda Ka in New Jersey. As if the height of the Skyscraper isn’t enough, there will be a 450-foot drop ride built into it called SkyFall, which will be the first Polercoaster vertical roller coaster. When construction of the roller coaster is completed in 2016/2017, it will dominate Orlando’s skyline.
The “theme park capital of the world” is trying to distinguish itself. Exciting things coming to Orlando.
