Texas Department of Motor Vehicles requires each licensed Manufactured Home Broker, Retailer or Installer to post a $50,000 surety bond and Manufactured Home Installer ONLY bond $25,000 to receive and maintain their license. These bonds renew or expire every other year.
Texas Manufactured Home surety bonds are underwritten and approved based upon the owner of the company’s personal credit score. Most of our surety companies/carriers utilize a “soft pull” therefore it typically will not affect your personal credit score.
