Amazon is adding 2,000 new jobs at its new distribution centers in Lakeland and Ruskin. Since opening the distribution centers last year, they have already hired more than 1,000 people and now they are hiring more! The center in Ruskin will handle small packages and the one in Lakeland will handle the larger items.
The majority of jobs available now include picking, packing and shipping customer orders. From the day they are hired, each employees is also eligible for benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), bonuses and stock rewards. In addition to all those benefits, Amazon will also prepay 95% of tuition for courses related to in-demand career fields, whether or not it is relevant to jobs at Amazon.
